Why We Need Your Support
Empowering Inclusivity and Equity
Fundraising at Wedgwood Co-op is essential in upholding our values of inclusivity and equity. Our cooperative model keeps tuition costs low, but we don't want finances to be a barrier for any family who wants to be a part of our amazing community. Much of what we fundraise goes directly to PAC and in-house scholarships. (Find more info about scholarships here.) Some money raised also goes towards enrichment activities for our students and occasional donations made by our all-school board to organizations like PAC.
Your Contribution Matters
How Much Families Must Raise
We ask that families annually raise the equivalent of one month's tuition for each child enrolled. This amount is not tracked. We ask that families do their best to support the values mentioned above. Our school holds multiple, popular fundraising events to help families with this.
Engage in Fundraising Opportunities
There are several ways to participate in fundraising at Wedgwood Cooperative Preschool.
- Fall Fundraiser: Every autumn, our dedicated fundraising committee puts together an exciting fall fundraiser. This event offers an opportunity to purchase items like Theo Chocolate, Caffé Umbria coffee, Rishi Tea, Wedgwood t-shirts, and more, combining the joy of supporting the school with holiday shopping.
- Spring Silent Auction: Our most significant and beloved fundraising event, the Spring Silent Auction, relies on donated items from our community and local businesses. This engaging event features silent bidding and provides a fun night out for Wedgwood Co-op parents during the April All-School Meeting.
- Shopping Programs: Make a difference as you shop through these programs:
- Fred Meyer: Link your Fred Meyer Rewards card to support Wedgwood Co-op. By doing so, you earn rewards while a portion of your purchases benefits our school. Simply enter your contact information, group ID (80880), and card number. Learn more here.
- Benefit App Gift Cards: Purchase gift certificates through the app, which can be used for shopping or shared with others. Wedgwood Co-op receives a percentage of your purchases from a wide range of retailers, including REI, Lowe’s, Starbucks, Safeway, The North Face, Gap, Nordstrom, Amazon, and more. Find out more details at {Link coming soon}.
- Donations: As a non-profit organization, Wedgwood Co-op welcomes and greatly appreciates tax-deductible donations. If you wish to contribute, you can donate via Jovial or write a check payable to Wedgwood Cooperative Preschool. Please include "Scholarship Fund Donation" on the check's memo line and send it to our All School Treasurer at the address below.
